Quod Seminas Metis at Espaie Buit

Quod Seminas, Metis is an immersive olfactory artwork by Victor Alarcón, Creative Director, Viti Vinci studio.

Conceived through scent, linen, resin, beeswax and plant matter, the installation approaches fragrance as an invisible architecture: a medium capable of shaping perception, memory and atmosphere. Rooted in the idea of “what you sow, you reap” .

The first space unfolds as an organic serpentine path, guiding visitors through a field of scented textiles. The second becomes a circular chamber, a quieter space of accumulation and reflection. Across two connected rooms, 36 suspended linen panels form a passage from movement to contemplation.

The panels are impregnated with resin and beeswax infused with fragrance, allowing scent to emerge slowly from matter. Beneath them, plant material gathered through forest management and fire-prevention pruning grounds the work in a language of care, residue and regeneration.

Labdanum, at the heart of the scent, the ancient resin of Mediterranean rockrose, long valued in perfumery for its warmth, depth and almost sacred persistence. Labdanum becomes here a symbol of trace: something harvested from the landscape, held by matter, and released slowly into the shared air.

REMANENCE distills the olfactory installation into an 11ml limited edition perfume, carrying its scent, atmosphere and memory beyond the moment of encounter. Please email us to register interest in the REMANENCE.
